phenolic ply with tread coming and going in place of existing hardwood or on top

on top the longer a hardwood bed has been on a truck the stronger it becomes :D:D exept when it rots

no rot, just gouged and worn in places, stuff I'm getting similar to ivor williams bed and has tread and coating both sides.

right if yer put that on top of the original timber itll make the timber underneith dry as a bone and as it gets dryer it gets a fook of a lot harder sometimes as strong as iron

same thing when trying to cut down a dead standing tree its hard as fook :D:D
