Ill check again tomorrow but I was sure they wouldn't go in, if not, no hassle I can just put them back in

dowels are used were an exact fit/alignment is necessary they are usually a tight fit

Well James it looks like we're both right, there are dowels on both but in different places
This is the dowel positioning on the 200


And on the 300


So on the 300 they're on the top left and bottom right


And as you can see the holes that the dowels are meant to go into are too small, menace were both right

So I'm drilling out the holes to fit the dowels and filing to a perfect fit I thought this would be more accurate than fitting the dowels from the other engine which I tried to get out but couldn't get it to budge

as long as you have 2 and are good fit,why not use 300 flywheel housing?

Erm because the holes for the bellhousing don't line up ...

i havent read all the thread what are you fitting on engine ?

Please tell me it fits ...

more than enough studs would fit ,so i just use the 300 housing but am aware others use 200,disco 200 housing also has some that dont fit as well

The 200 housing bolts fit well within the 300 housing not 1 bolt would fit, this is an auto flywheel plate though ?

auto plate hasnt anything to do with fitting 4 cylinder lt77

The 300 is out of an auto disco it's going into a lt77 90

i thought you had a 300 manual flywheel housing as well ?

No the flywheel housing came off of my now dead 200tdi manual

Does anyone know the torque setting for the 130 clutch or is it the same as a sandard clutch ?

it would be the same as uses the same bolts

Sound I thought so but I wasn't sure due to the extra strength ect

if your not going to use a 300 housing are you going to cut 200 out to fit over seal housing ?

Cut 200 out to fit seal housing ?

some cut the D shape out like 300 housing so you still use 300 tdi rear main oil seal
