This has been covered here before http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f10/etc-ps8-2-5-dse-98874.html
You don't live too far from me and you would be welcome to come and take a look. Mine does have ABS but definately doesn't have TC. It doesn't even show up when they plugged it into T4.If it has ABS it has TC. I have never seen a P38 so fitted but a brake vacuum pump is available for the P38 2.5 TD. So if yours has vacuum servo brakes it will not have TC. But it does have a limited slip centre diff. But not a limited slip diff in the axle. If that helps.
Don't make assumptions that you know squat about. I am actually a refinish technician who also happens to be the MD:multiply:
I didn't say valeter. Try painter. Bit more skill than using a sponge.Hahaha! 'Refinish technician'! Can you polish my car for me too?
Are you able to scan this?I don't know but I can only go by what LR said. The build spec on mine says TC not fitted. Also spoke to a local indie and he was aware that some didn't have it but had never come across one. The term LSD is in the owners handbook and refers to markets and specific cars which didn't have TC.
Do you have more info on this?the only lsd ive seen fitted as std to rr was in center diff of lt95 on very early models
Nope not a possibility at all, more likely to have Warp drive.Would a 97 manual DSE have the LT95. I suppose that is a possibility.
Are you able to scan this?
An LT95 is a 4 speed manual gearbox which if memory serves incorporated the transfer box.Any quick way of differentiating.
Actually, all we've got is your word that you've read it. I would say based on nobody else on planet Earth knowing about an LSD equipped p38a, that the chances are you've either mis-read it or misunderstood what was written.Not that one then.
Contrary to popular belief Land Rover can be helpful at times. I have no idea if it has an LSD only that Land Rover specified it had one due to it not having TC.
Anything you've got on it would be interesting.what info do you want .it was just lsd in center diff of early lt95s javascript:;

I knew I wasn't going mad. It doesn't even have the TC on the dash panel like my 2000 V8 used to have. The V8 used to be always kicking in on the farm but the DSE doesn't even spin the wheelsIt seems you may be correct. ABS modulator WITHOUT TC. STC 2779. Listed by Rimmers.
I have already worked out that LSD is referring to the centre diff not the axles. Probably a marketing ploy because all P38's had it.Actually, all we've got is your word that you've read it. As you don't have a scanner, could you take pic and upload it instead?

Can't polish a turd sorryYes but can you polish my car?
You must have a degree in cretinism then. If you have nothing of use to add go away.He recons he's got a HND in Chemistry, more like Chamoistary.....
