mainly focus on the tyres (good straight bit of concrete to ram it down after is good) headlights, windows, registration plates, tail lights, indicators ect. all the important legal bits! bodywork doesn't matter

Thanks Nick. Good info mate. The propsoed site is close to a very quiet village so the last thing I would want to do is upset them. If all goes to plan and I secure the land then the local village and I will need to work closely. The main thing would be road dirt followed a very close second by noise etc.

If there's a little village, it's a good idea to put up a polite notice asking for 4x4 drivers to drive through slowly.
Our local site had complaints about this so they put up notices in the pay desk
