My p38 with my Jimny and my brother’s Ninety.
Thanks. How do you rate the Jimny..
Fancy one myself...
Great pic..
Thanks.
I can sum up the Jimny in one word, awesome!
Really wish Land Rover would have offered something similar. I put a deposit down in May last year and finally got offered one in March this year.
They feel very much like a Series 1 Land Rover crosses with a late model Puma Defender.
Ladder chassis and live axles. But rides well and is quiet and comfy. Feels like a 4x4 on the road rather than a crossover. But is actually pretty fun to drive too. Feels quite a bit more compact than a Defender though. Engine is lovely, loads of grunt low down and revs a treat. It’s a lot quicker than a tweaked Tdi 90. Been getting 38-39mpg too.
Good spec with heated seats, climate, Apple CarPlay and other modern touches. The LED headlights are the best headlights I’ve ever used. It’s the first car I’ve owned that I feel has no need for additional spot lights.
Doesn’t flex as well as a Defender off road. But seems pretty capable. Has off road biased TCS and hill decent. A small suspension upgrade should dramatically improve its flex though.
Only a few weeks old when we shot this:

Suspension arms and a track rod end. The owner unfortunately doesn't appreciate the RR like some of us do our own. It's used to pull wood from the forest every now and again...You are a brave man going anywhere near an L322
