But no reason why she chose Paddy? I name all my cars but there is usually a reason behind the name :) Re plate the numbers look as if spacing is off, but may be angle of photo.

I believe it’s because it’s green. TBF she named the BM Hans Gruber and the GTA darth kermit as it’s black with kawaski green brembos. It’s a funny set of letter DYJ. Looks funny but it is space ok.

Re the name could be its a range rover and throws one now and again?:D:D

I prefer this reasoning.

I have a Blue one. It goes forwards and backwards and needs the black handle at the petrol station. I haven't driven her for 3 months, so hopefully when I get home she still moves. Had it on a trickle chargers so hopefully no problems to encounter.

Just to prove pictures can be deceptive, this little 'beauty' was mine for all of three weeks. It absolutely stank of wet dog and although I bought it as spares or repair the previous owner new it would take a shed load of money to get it back on the road. I ended up taking the wheels, cat and battery of it and weighing the rest in. I had considered swapping my 300tdi discovery for a diesel p38 but all the electrical crap has put me off  soz

That seems to be a shame, was it not worthwhile stripping it and selling the bits on the bay??
Trying to bring a classic up to condition is really frustrating to me at times just trying to source all the fiddly little bits that need replacing, interior mirror as an example.
I know it's not the same by the way, just saying.

Where do I start....
The front axle was worn, the engine was a pig to start but had already had new glow plugs fitted, the gearbox linkage was worn and you couldn't change from 3rd to 2nd, the air bag light wouldn't go out and I don't know anyone with a diagnostic device the engine when it did finally start banged like one of the mounts was broken and finally one of her kids had spilt milk in the central cubby box and it had gone off. Oh and one of the tyres was bald. so all in all it was a bit of a money pit. If you held your nose though p38`s do seem a nice place to sit but I'll be sticking with my 50th anniversary disco for now:D
