Rover number 1, 1988 with a 200TDI swapped in for the dead V8.
Rover number 2 is a 1982 I'll be collecting later this week!

Of the metalic paints, it's my favourite colour.

It's actually pretty solid, chasis is rust free, the sills, rear arches have been done, footwells done, rear cross member done. Had to rust treat the footwells and the bottom corners of the rear doors recently but it's all just surface. 200 TDI means it's reliable too

The second one is a 1982 V8 that needs a bit more attention. Lots of surface rust and a small hole in a footwell. It's Russet Brown, so looks even more solid, misleadingly. We'll get it there though!

Rover number 2 has arrived! Made the 25 mile journey home quite comfortably, except when stopping was needed.
(Edit: miraculously the big patch of oil isn't from either Rangie!)

New paint job is coming along brilliantly. Not sure I am a huge fan of these tyres though, I seem to be breaking traction a lot more than I am used to.

Perhaps they’ll settle in. They look okay, I would have to paint that grille cream match the interior though. Is half way there
