Very trueThe is no oil cooler behind the fogs on a manual box, so fogs were fitted to some of them, I will fit them to mine when I find a nice cheap set.

manual cooler is in the bottom of the RAD.Funny enough mine is a manual DSE and the gearbox oil cooler seems to be piped as part of the radiator. Hence room for fog lights, (as much good as they are..)
No headlight wipers/washers on lo line DT.Yes manual box so no cooler behind there. It's integrated part of the main rad. My P38 has been tinkered with but the fogs do seem factory fitted?
Are headlight wipers/washers usual on lo-line DT?
My sister says my P38 is like driving around in a 3piece suiteMy mum had a sofa like that..
Some previous owner changed my vehicle to later clear lights. hi-line DT seems bit of an oximoron? Either they did make few or mine has been cannibalised from DSENo headlight wipers/washers on lo line DT.
Quite possibly, this was the original owners pride and joy back in the day.Or the original owner speced then on the build sheet.
I wonder if you can still get hold of the original build sheets. I once tried going back to the dealers who sold mine as new but they had long gone.Quite possibly, this was the original owners pride and joy back in the day.
Now it's mine...[/QUOT
Found the book and turns out I've got all history for this vehicle from day one. First 18yrs had landrover service and extended LR assured warranty programme. A technical bulletin for neutral switch plastic cam. Originally M reg has had two private plates.Or the original owner speced then on the build sheet.

So the fogs and wipers must be standard?
I found something interesting from LR non franchise dealer in 2003...

Conversion for hotstart - £60
Did they charge? I've got a LR security info card in the holders sleeve. Has Vin, radio serial number (OE no longer fitted), CATS security code and EKANice load of info there
I am sure one of the stealers printed the build info out for me when I got the eka code but can I find it

Suit is appropriate as they drive like they want to kill youwhereas a classic is like driving around in a 3 piece suit ?
