Good to see some progress :) Glad you are saving another one:)

I have a similar blast pot, and use a frying pan spatter guard to sieve the "blast media" ;) - something like item 372198190174 on the bay .... if the media is full of carp, then an ordinary kitchen sieve first, followed by the spatter guard. I'm fortunate to have enough air for an air fed mask, but for quick outside jobs I've found a medical grade mask as good - the one I use is a Drager..

Ordered new sills and galv sheet for bulkhead side panel (2mm)
Removed brackets from old bulkhead side panel.
Degreased and kurusted NS sill mounting points etc.

new sill box section turned up today.... 120 x 60 x 3.6mm :).
still waiting for cardboard sheet and galv sheet to arrive.
Started shot blasting new bulkhead section. Bugger me, does it get thru a lot of sand . I hope to do a bit more tomoz. dont think I ill have time to shotblast vehicle bulkhead area yet.
Some pics of the Bulkhead corner piece. It can be easily seen how the corrosion runs, unseen, under the seam sealer :(. Having said that, the Shot Blaster really does a good job, of cleaning the metal, as well as covering everything within 30 feet with sand. :(

Looks like we could be welding on Friday ;)

If not the box section it'll be that footwell.

Don't forget you need to trim off the roll cage legs so that they are above the box section, unless we are going to make removing that the first thing we do when I rock up?

I think fitting the mounts to the box section and cutting it to length will be Friday as I won’t get the bulkhead corner and body cleaned and prepped by then.

We can cut, cap and weld on the mounts. We could duplicate the second box section too and then it just needs the body mounts when we come to do the drivers side.

One bite at a time ;)

Besides, I think once we have one side done it will begin to feel like progress, the other side should go faster.
Got the bulkhead finished blasting, Kurusted and acid etch primed today, :).
New panel for top of bulkhead side turned up today. waiting on cardboard to make up template
