Admittedly not under its own steam, but it saw sunshine again today. ;)

Not sure replacement tyres are any better than those removed, but can pump them up when necessary :eek:
 
first evenings work finished.... no pics, but more rot found.
Removed dash and cut away the inside of the Nearside A pillar. Job for the week is to clean up the inside of the A Pillar to see how bad it is. Also cut bulkhead to suit new panel.

Door post with a chalk line for cutting.

Top corner of the bulkhead from the outside where the three panels meet, a real haven for the tin worms.

Also discovered a little more attention is required on the drivers side sill.

Sadly it has to get worse before it gets better :(

I remember the Mary Rose being brought up from the depths when I was a kid, it was rather exciting stuff back then :)

I was looking at air power shears today and I'll see if I can get one for Friday, it should make preparing new steel easier, cleaner and safer as there are no sparks.

well....... i tried today, but it is steady rain, so a little bit of cutting and derusting carried out. Thats about it :(.
