A wipe of seam sealer over the joint and it will be as near as dammit invisible. Just needs a few gentle taps to flatten a couple of bumps out .
not looking as good as it will when fettled proppa like .
and the floor stiffener ,Yeah but we gotta weld that box section in first.
and the floor stiffener ,
be a couple of weeks before the bulkhead goes in, and weather starting to turn,
thats wot i like.... a man that wont take no for an answer
single skin laid over the box and puddle welded down flush on to the box. also seam weld outside/inside edge. we might just seam seal the inner edge.Thorough
Just to confirm - I think I asked you before - when you are welding in floor panel and with box section as sill, is it simply single skin laid over the box and spot welded down flush with the box? Sorry to hijack, I just know you know!
My existing floor has rust trap angled
welded flush to the box then an overlapped floor which I think must be a previous owner bodge which i would rather chop out.
Better day today.
