I know there's a lot of jesting about tratters just getting water in, but I don't green lane or take my tratter for a swim in a pond. I've silent coated my floor pans in the drivers and passenger wells, and I've got new door seals. So why is there water (albeit not exactly a puddle) lying on top of the silent coat? Is it the rubber mats and just my foot water from the fields I wonder?

+1 condensation. Line it with closed cell foam on top of your silentcoat butyl, it's meant to cure the condensation.

Check all your sealant in the roof gutters, it hardens and cracks.

There's a guide somewhere on here for making them watertight, have a search.

Or buy a discovery

Have a look at the condition of the bulkhead to windscreen frame seal. The seal is only a few pounds and worth replacing. It is one of the biggest weak spots for water ingress.

Thanx y'all. Will do and check everything above (apart from drilling a hole Henry)

Where is the water? How much water is there? Did you notice any water before doing the silent coat, or new seals? Why did you replace the door seals? Have you had any heavy rain?

Feel for you mate. I camped out in mine on Saturday at the Pit in Ceinheidre fro the 4x4 extrem. It was bucketing it down all night and I could hear water dripping somewhere. I still have old door seals on mine so I know they dont help but I noticed that the water seemed to come in at the top edge of the front doors just below the end of the gutter where it is meant to dump the water onto the windscreen. I suspect that either it is running back under the gutter and into the door seal or that the rubber seal between the windscreen and roof isnt doing its job and it is coming in through there. given the amount, I think it might be the first option. You could always do what Richard Hammond did to get the water out of his car on the Africa trip and shoot a hole in the passenger footwell with a 12 guage! Oh I also noticed that one of the rear slidey windows lets water in so if you have a 110 with water in the back it might be the culprit

you need one of these :p
