Lanes change depending on use, the weather conditions and time if year.
What can be an interesting decent can turn into a washout or a 2.5 ton slide to disaster. :(.
Even just doing the same lane in the opposite direction can be a completely different experience.
 
Had a call from the local Devon Constabulary yesterday making enquiries into the removal of said tractor and pick up.

Seems matey boy is claiming damage to his vehicles.

Of course he is, why wouldn't he try it on.

Piccies are pretty conclusive that no damage was done - they should have a word as he was parked on a public highway, not displaying a valid registration or tax disc.

Oh, and you have witnesses :D
