Sundays photos;
We met at the marina in torquay. Sundays hardcore were me and funky slipper, poppy, Oh****her , mr and mrs sniffle bag and V8man
The first series of lanes we wanted to do were all close together, we where on our way to the first lane decending a narrow B road(yellow road on a map) and where suddenly faced with this
A steep drop of around 30 degrees with a soil, scree base. Ive never seen anything like it! A concreted B road that just stopped and disappeared.
After inspecting we decided not to descend as the road was severly washed out and further down a large step had appeared.
We carried on to some more 'used' lanes but still had to do some pruning
This lane, after getting past the encroaching fauna turned into a couple of tight switch backs with some loose rocks.
Funkyslipper
Ohitsher
Poppy
Snifflebag
V8 Man
So after i had taken the photos i rounded the corner to get back to my seat in the lead car i came to this;
On closer inspection;
A miniature drama evolved and sapped us of at least 2 hours of laning time
anyway tractor moved and obstacles legally abated we carried on:
Some more switch backs as the gradient got steeper, in the 110 we needed a few shunts no photos of that though so here is Emma doing it in style
Some great sunken lanes in this area;
FK
Ohitsher
Pops
Snifflebag
V8man
Some nice views at the top;
The infamous Last lane We ignored the golden rule here and paid the price. Very over grown and in need of attention.
And washed out on the bottom section too, some very skilful driving followed from everybody in order to stay upright and not cause any more damage to the
lane.
The jungle is massif!!!
Mr sniffle
Thats a new angle
V8man
Success!!!
Who wants to be in the city when you have views like this with great lanes
The trouble with taking photos and watching people through tricky sections is how do you get through to the front to get back to your car :confused2:
Nope this didnt work either!
Thats your lot people, i am all out of photos
Enjoy.
