It's getting worse, £300k for a near new Defender 90. One can buy two houses up north and an original Defender for the same price. Who in their own right mind would pay £300k for what is a basic JLR product?

Hmm, bit much.
What I have noticed is that judging by the amount of private plates adorning these vehicles, the majority of new defender owners are those who previously owned the high end LR's.
Not a farmer in sight

The point I do not understand with these new Defenders is the hype, resulting in beyond ridiculous asking prices. These cars are just modern day unreliable mass produced JLR product. No more, no less. Can people be so gullible as to pi$$ away £200-£300k on a blinged up next.gen Disco?
