That bit on the roll cage, what's it called?

Could I just use a big exshuast clamp welded to my cage or is the a better ways hats just as simple?

I just find when I want to recover myself I seem to find my self laying on my bonnet fishing for the winch hook, and yes befor anyone says I do have a recovery strap off my tow point and rapped around my mirror in case but I seem to find no one can get any traction to recover me if I have managed to get stuck,
