Testbook Alternative for Freelander 1 V6

I have issues after overhowling the engine (and the rest of the car) to read out errors. Engine not running. Is there any modern alternative to the testbook that can do the job (or parts of it)?

The KV6 freelander is OBD2 compliant, so any OBD reader will be able to read codes and live data.

Thanks, my workshop here tried it, but there was not successfull with standard OBD tools.

Check the OBD2 port for bad connections, as it's definitely an OBD2 compliant vehicle, it had to be by law.
