How do I turn it down a bit? Iss a 300tdi.
Yer need to wind in the fuel regulator that yer throttle cable is attached to. When you press accelerator it lets more fuel in, just need it tweaking to stop overfuelling.
Dunt ask me how to do it, got a 200TDi 'ere
Awww thankyou CharlesY! I like the way you writid it in BLONDE!!! Will ave a go at 'phase 1' tomoz an get back to you...
wunt phase one be " release bonnit catch "
Well iss no good me askin you how to do that is it?!!
Nope !
Cos i wunt av a clue wot yer wus sayin t me, cos yer all talk funny darn thur !
if its overfueling surely it just needs more boost from the turbancharger more fuel + more air = more power = more fun (p.s. check the air filter i have seen cars overfuel due to a cloged one)
Aye, its quite nippy as it is BUT...The point of me 'turning it down' is to get it throught the emmisions test on me MOT. After which I will probl'y turn it back up. As it stands, it failed miserably.
or crank yer pump down a notchput some veg oil in yer tank (obvioulsy only if its a diesel) apparently that confuses the emmisions machine
