So I have horrible horrible clunky noises from underneath!
When i lift and push down the accelerator. Also the clutch has been slipping intermittently for a while now. Im pretty sure its time for a new clutch plate and by the sounds of it a dual mass as well.
So my question to you lovely people who may have gone through this before is:
Do i get a new clutch kit inc release bearing, clutch plate, cover etc etc (the likes of the Valeo or the borg beck) and a new dual mass fly wheel?
Or shall i get rid of the dual mass and get a heavy duty clutch? (i think AP do one )
I will be using OEM parts or reputable aftermarket parts which ever way i go. I have read that getting rid of the DM and getting a HD clutch will create a bit more road noise. not that fussed about that to be honest.
