I have a 2005 LR3 with 170k miles. The suspension compressor would appear not to be working.
I get the suspension fault, no special programs, normal ride height only warning sign. No sound from the compressor when I switch on. LR3 has sunk to access height. I would prefer to drive to my usual dealer who is 130 miles away, mainly motor way driving. On the short journey I have used it, albeit it along a very bumpy local concrete road, it was a real pain to drive. I know the LR3 will rise from access height at above 30mph in normal conditions, but how safe is it to drive at access height for say 60mph for a lengthy journey?

It won't rise if there is no air. And driving at 60 MPH in access would be silly, dangerous and VERY uncomfortable. .

agree in what @wammers has said

are u in the states by any chance , ref calling it a LR3

there may be a break in the wiring in the front passenger side wheel arch , or near side if ur in the states

has 3 x connectors behind the wheel arch trim that can cause problems

would be worth investing in an iid diagnostic reader, will pay for itself very quickly
