That’s great it’s sorted

Would u be so kind to let us know what ac pipes those wires were under plse

Only ones I remember was as wires went to the back unless u may have a pic plse including a wide shot plse

Thks and so pleased it’s resolved
So at the bottom of the wheel arch I think the landy has air on going to the back am not sure if all landrovers have this but there is 2 air con pipes that run under the near side sill there is a like housing for 3 plugs to sit on it’s rubber held in with a 10mm nut took that off and it allows some play in the 3 connectors it was the middle connector that had the wires broken I didn’t get a pic as I was excited of the thought of it working again sorry but I have seen somewhere on this forum a pic of the 3 plugs/connectors I will try and find it and post it m8

That’s perfect and thk u so much

Indeed was myself that posted a picture of the 3 x connectors as I sat down and traced the wiring diagram’s route for the left height sensor and left control solenoid for the front valve block

found that indeed it was that centre connector

Am so pleased u found the broken wires

Indeed as u say rear air con is fitted on the higher models , ie HSE and on mine being a base model they don’t have rear AC so assume that’s the reason I don’t notice the pipes

As aside note the other 2 x connectors are for other places of the air suspension, plus after 2007 they moved the 3 x connection points to behind the front headlight

Thks again for the update of where u found the broken wires and again so pleased ur all sorted out

Thanks for all your help m8 I think I’m gunner invest in some new front mud flaps as they seem to be the things that protect the said connectors and put something like silicone round the bottom off the inner arch liner for added protection water finds its way into everywhere doesn’t it lol

Ur so welcome , must confess I’ve always been concerned of applying silicone to the bottom in case it becomes like a water trap , know they do moulded plastic mudflaps and they certainly can’t hurt , have seen the rubber mudflaps fitted on the rear’s that are usually fitted to defender and series 3 ,

Just need to be careful with the larger rear rubber mudflaps in order they can’t touch the tyres as they rotate, hope that makes sense

Another thing I personally wouldn’t fit are side steps due to the fear of them become water traps leading to rusty sills , another reason I fitted 3” round steel rock sliders, also drilled holes on the bottom to prevent water not being able to drain away

Ref the connectors it certainly doesn’t hurt putting dielectric grease over them , Tribosyn 330 C comes to mind but there’s others on eBay , motor factors etc, just read the reviews

Nice one m8 I shall take this advice on board and re think my silicone approach lol I think it was definitely a mixture of the air con pipes and the bracket that landrover put on having said that I don’t know if an owner before me has messed with it and trapped them if you know what a mean

No probs, plus if u cover an electrical connector in silicone it can act like a water trap where water can’t get out, will also collect dust , dirt etc along with being a right mare to get apart , so indeed best to use the proper dielectric grease

Forgot to add if u access that passenger side wheel arch liner again I removed the 3 x earth eyelets, cleaned them and the post up with a dremel, smal, mstainless steel wheel is ideal and then reassembly using some copperslip
