Apart for not requiring maintenance in the aesthetics department as they wont be rusting.
will solid stainless sterling bars be as strong and as good as the sumo or terrafirma etc?

I have seen a set including track rod ends on a particular site for £120.

itll start to corrode immediately mate, serves no purpose making something out of stainless - underneath a corroding mild steel chassis, connected to lots of mild steel parts!

not to mention it will be hammered by road salt.

Any suggest as to what type of stainless it is? The wrong type could be too hard and could snap rather than bend. (without knowing what it is its hard to say)

Ah found it on ebay - theres no mention as to what grade it is

I would avoid

Anyway its got a sodding cast steel track rod end. Itll start to corrode immediately

Saves yer money

I had a feeling you would be able to advise me. In my head it has all the positive over the other bars.

Its why I asked the question....I knew I would be wrong. I suppose that's why there aren't a number of people a making them in that material.
Thanks

I have them on my build, he made me a custom length drag link and I have Gwen Lewis track rod ends in them. Oh and the damper bracket is a very nice piece.

I've just bought a set of these in mild steel - he did me a bloody good deal on it all too...
Encompass 4x4 if anyone's wondering who the guy is...
