I have decided to fit springs on my 1998 P38 due to failed EAS.

1. Do discovery series 2 springs fit?

2.Do I have to fit an EAS override Module so the message center works or can it be done by some other means?

Many thanks

Peter

Why dont you fix the EAS,its not as expensive as it was and if its maintained properly its far better than springs and can be very reliable ?

i think aes is wonderfull, it makes the P38 what it is. i fitted new shocks to mine recently and i cant believe the ride quality, its almost car like, and the up, down, and motorway level! its great, would never dream of changing for springs. each to there own though!

The main reason for the change is that I now live in the middle east UAE the car is used a lot off road in the desert and at some stage the EAS will fail I think its the 50 dregee heat they dont like.

ah well! cant argue with that. i always forget that others on here can be anywhere in the world.
i did have a classic and the difference in ride i think between air and springs was incredible, air 1 springs nil
as you say prob much more reliable as there no where near the amount of bits to go wrong!! in fact no bits!

Point taken ! Have a look on Range Rovers I think there are links from there to a couple of places that do the kits.
