Holy Mary mother e Jesus! Mine was no where near as cruddy as that...
it was changed in August or September. Started usin' the mix about a fortnight ago but had done just over 800 miles since then. Will maybe check it again after 500 miles just tae see how it's doin'. CheersBuggered if I know busterbus. Might be worth keeping an eye on it. When was it last changed?
I no longer use Veg oil due to the fact that if you are not paying the TAX on it and get pulled and dipped which they dont do anymore they walk round the back to the exhaust and stick a probe up it jobs done....... If you are not paying the TAX or duty as they call it you get done like ya useing RED DIESEL....OUCH. I know some ppl who have had there vehicles CRUSHED and a hefty fine.... Not good.![]()
sigh..... this sounds like a vw forum.A simple non sarcastic answer would suffice. The point I was making was that you wouldn't have your car crushed if you had your tank dipped !
I have read numerous posts on this interesting subject. For me, I have seen veg oil at about 65-70p/litre. For the 6000 miles I do pa. I dont want to modify the vehicle and dont want to risk stuffing up an expensive injector pump. For a potential saving of 30p/litre and the possibility I could be breaking the law, I'm not sure its all worth it.
Bookers- Chefs Larder vegetable oil 20lts is £13.59. There was cheaper stuff but can't remember the price![]()
