devon and dorset have plenty, all you need to do is get some OS maps and look for them depends where you are in somerset but you always have salisbury plain as a last resort

i fancy the palins but only thing that worries me is all the stories of land rangers etc if you go off track

will have a scout around devon and dorset maps see what about

i am searching just some sites dont come up they more word of mouth so thought would ask

there is a play and pay in taunton exmoor off roading site never been there though

if you do your home work on the plains and stick to the byways the wardens will have no issues with you , if you do happen to accidently stray off piste they can be understanding but if you act like a cock and lash about they will come down hard on you
