Sam - between that last vid clip and the epic failure of swivel housing pics, the respect I have for you has just gone up 10-fold.

Utterly brilliant. Hero.

:eek::eek::eek: Oh my god

Gotta admit there is no way I would have attempted to fix that on site

Mind you I wouldn't have been carrying a spare swivel ball either

Well done fella

Hello pal.

Not just yet tbh, turns out I had forgotten I am still after a couple of bits for that one so will have to get round to it.

It is half done though so not ideal anyway.

I can help you through it no problem though :D

It's welding the brake that you may have more fun with!

Welding the brake?????? What?

Made a start and stripped it down today anyhow. Looks simple enough and the gearbox has loads of that red sticky marine grease in it

Thankyou gentlemen, yeah i mean what can I say, **** fell off and it had to be put back on!

Basically paid £35 to fix my car in the mud, oh the banter :D

Should have seen the faces on some of the people who saw us in pieces though when we rolled into the car park looking ship shape again! Haha, priceless!

Rob, yeah they're pretty simple to strip, just get the brake out of the drum and get some pics up, there's one type that wears itself out and needs some welding to repair, some don't though!

Cheers :D

Nice work chap..
I got to just do the seals on mine (even one-shot is leaking badly) and I am dreading the job, so I am in awe of you sorting that out in the mud..

With the sleet and mud and freezing cold hands, i can thoroughly tell you it wasn't even that bad a job, just keep smiling was the motto today :D

that would be my worst nightmare, you got massive nuts full of respect for that, pal.

note to self: add swivel housing to spares list!!

I was only sorting out some spanners today to make an "emergency tool kit" and keep everything else in the shed. Think I might just stick it all in the Disco. Just in case!!

:clap2:
