33" won't fit on the standard spare wheel carrier will it? Where can I get an aftermarket one that holds the bigger wheels. Any find anythin anywer...

Not really
D44 do a aftermarket one but I think/found that it sticks out too far with deep dish wheels, it is also expensive for what it is.
The best option is to cut/adjust/modify/fabricate/welderize your original one so it fits your oversize wheels/tyres perfectly

What about modifying your rear bumper by cutting the top out and welding in a semi-circle so there is clearance for the bottom of your tyre? It would help keep visibility out of the rear window and keep CoG slightly lower.

Bought some long diff casing studs to get rid of the pesky short side casing studs, so that I can fit all types of diff casing.

My axel casing had 4 short studs in it and when my diff blew picked another diff up an thst wouldn't fit so had to get hold of some of those longer ones and fit them.

Done for tonight, long day, I'm creamed!
Anyway so basibally today I:
...took the front axle off, stripped it, rubbed everything down and painted it all, black!!
Pictures look **** but come and see it at the show it looks really sexual.
Back axle and rear half of chassis/body next weekend
Also fitted front brake hose porn.
Few bits still to do but I'm ####ing tired and have still got to tidy up this bombsite workshop.

Auto Glym satin black aerosol
We buy it in cases at work for all sorts of tasks, it's the best black aerosol I've ever used, acrylic, you can lay it on like you're pouring it on.
We pay £2.65+vat per 500ml tin

Soooo, early night tonight methinks!
Yesterday was a tough day man, 12 hours of rust dust and paint fumes, plus a pretty late night because I HAD to watch too gear when I got home
Not gonna see much, if any progress on this this week, but then next Sunday will be back axle and chassis strip and paint, and then the following week all evenings are being devoted to car prep because it'll need to be ready to go on the Saturday afternoon!
Once the axle is painted i can finish fitting the brake lines and get that plumbed, hopefully no disasters will ensue there, and just give the car a general tidy up, there will be no further modifications to do or parts to add/replace/refurbish.
Excited and apprehensive at the same time!!

Looks great mate. Wish I had time and space to put that much effort and attention Into mine. I envy you. Haha. Need some new tyres, going to go for 33" as I think 35" are just to much of a strain on the old girl. Any preferences Of a good tyre. Want it to look the part aswel obviously. Good mud terrains but that arnt as noisy as the insa turbo special tracks I've got on now on the road.

35" will break stock shafts, 33" are ok.
If you want "the look" then the only option is 33x12.5x15 on 10" rims
Chris Co-Pang-Yang recently got some VJ910 Fedima which I insisted he must do! But after being great tyres they were not well moulded and were out of round so had to go back
Rule of thumb is if you want road manners go for a new casing not remould
General favorites are Cooper STT like Mark L has got, Insa super special track like Drizz has, or the Maxxis bighorn which is similar to the buckshot I had but more aggressive.
Others are the Kumho KL71 which looks like it should do the business
If I had to go for a mud tyre in 33x12.5 again id be hankering for BFG KM2 just because they have heritage but they are SO expensive.
