Hi all,
Had the Freelander a couple of days and I've noticed the FBH is really quite smoky, particularly first thing in the morning.
I understand that the car isn't blowing up, but the amount of smoke makes it look quite alarming
I have heard of people pulling fuse 5 which disables it. If I was to do this, would it harm anything else? I know it helps the engine warm up quicker.
Also, is there anything I can change (like a filter) to reduce the smoke? I like the idea of it - just not the horrible smoke screen
It is a 2005 Freelander 1 TD4
I can't find any answers in the search.
Thanks!
