probably around 150,000 mark, just a rough guide

60-100,000 miles for the original one then the rest of the life of the engine for its replacement - they were modified,but they look the same.James said:
My old RR cl 200tdi came in on friday,it had a gasket at 72,000m,it is now on 223,000 and still goes very well.(one oil top up between each change) I have done loads of them over the years,but never twice on the same engine - whatever they changed on the gasket must have worked.

very true eight, infact i don't think i have ever done a headgasket in the same vehicle twice
