Hi all!
I’m opening this thread as I’m not able to find any info about (it’ll probably exist..)
This year in October in everything goes right we will be driving across Morocco!, and after some issues with the Landy (hopefully sorted already, fingers crossed) I’m trying to achieve some more off road performance without compromising on road driving as I use her for commuting so first thing on my list is MT tyres 245/75/16 and next (it was an advisory in my last MOT) I was thinking a 2” lift but I didn’t realised that not only coils and shocks must be fitted but brake and ABS line, castor corrected, front radius arm bushes etc, etc should get sorted as well and I don’t have time nor willing to spend much money.
I have been searching and according to what I have read the best way to achieve a couple of cm more is by installing genuine Land Rover HD coils (I’ll change the shocks over a terrafirma as well just in case I’m going for the 2” in the future as according to their website can be used with standard suspension height)
I have no winch or massive roof rack fitted, we’ll be two people driving, personal belongings and an extra spare tyre, petrol can, tools, standard stuff to a Moroccan trip. My big concern is; will the HD springs affect to much the ride? Since it’s very comfortable now, is there any other springs brand or model I can achieve that small lift I’m looking for?
Thank you very much in advance
