Thanks Si :D
lots of blood, sweat and tears in that project. took me ages to get all the bits over to Venezuela. but once they were all there, the hard work started.

i'd do another tomorrow if i had the cash to do it. but the hips aint as good as they were, dont flex that well now for sports bikes, hence the rear-sets.

Dave
that's why i decided to get rid of my hardtail, bruised kidneys and ****ing blood after a full weekend riding...

but it looks cool and went like fook:D

I had a pair of Barrels to fit the stock, a Gemini F Class 308 and a Anschutz Match 54 .22RF

In Feb this year I sold the F Class Barrell due to the rising cost of Ammo, I have tried hand loading using a friends Lee equipment, but could never get consistant groups, so I sold that and stuck to the much cheaper .22RF....even then Eley Match and Tenex is going up in price, may have to give that up too and stick to Archery - atleast you get your Ammo back :D

as long as you find um :D
my .243 was a tad like that £2 a round , guy in my local gun shop put me onto some rounds from some old eastern block country £0.50 , not let me down yet they go right where i aim um and bambi seems to need a nap prety well instantly :D

£2 a pop dam...

Aslong as you are getting the groups in for 50p a go, alls good....

Never had the nerve to go for Bambi, but a piece of card with a black dot on it sellotaped to it might make me pluck up the nuts for it...

The Brownie never goes for anything other than a bird or rabbit made of Clay.....I just don't have the confidence I could kill on the first shot....even if my Target shooting is grouping under an inch at 300yds and 2.5 inches at 600.....

I'm just Softy Surrey boy I think!!

try using a Desert Eagle .44 like i had back in the 80's. that pretty much stopped everything!. shoot, kill and cook in 1 go :D:D:D

that was before the laws changed after Hungerford. only used to go to the local range. but had a choice of the Desert, S&W model 29 .44, S&W 586 .357 and H&K 9mm.

those were the days :frown::violin:

shooting a bambi is not just a matter plucking up the courage , you will get buck fever i was lucky only had it the first couple of shots (luckily missed by a fair bit ) a mate that shoots with me sometimes cant get past it has wasted a lot of ammo and not got close

A good friend of mine had a Ruger Red Hawk (or something like that) chambered in a .44....

He couldn't hit a Barn Door with it...a fellow shooter rocked up, asked if he could squeeze off a few, Stevey said OK, he popped off 5 rounds into a group under 4 inches at 30yds...said hmmmm very nice and walked off, Stevey had another go and still couldn't hit the backer let alone the black!!

funnily enough, i was the same with the 9mm, fired 1000 rounds and only had 6 hit the areas i was aiming at. picked up the Desert and peppered the **** out of it. me and 9mm just do not happen :D:D
