gone to check if they are actually what she think they are and got murderated on the way perhaps... when u down my way again, u gotta come and check out the yard... you would lurrrrrrv it chap!

I would rather the fender myself, v8 is good but does leave a hole in your pocket. I have a 3.9 v8 and only use it for leisure and with fuel prices I struggle to run it. And if you are using it to travel to/from work you need to think how much u earn a day and how much it will cost you to get there/ home and decide from there.
Don't let the bloke fool you in saying it is quite good on fuel cos it ain't at all.

i know what u mean, in summer the supermoto uses about £7 of fuel per week... the fender uses +- £30.... u deffo feel it in the pocket. but it is a beautiful piece of engineering and sounds awesome and and and.....
:D

If you fancy a V8 go for it, why not? Throw some rangie diffs in and an overdrive and you should get near to 20 mpg if you go steady.
I have a 300tdi disco and a V8 s2 and go out in the V8 any chance I get, I even go to work in it sometimes which is 110 mile round trip, the disco costs £30 in fuel the V8 costs £45.

Have to say there is nothing like a V8 growl to put a smile on your face:), it just does, but a V8 fuel bill soon wipes it off again:doh:. if your only doing 9 miles per trip whats the problem, I am thinking having fun in a v8 will see you out and about clocking up extra points on your fuel card, well until the novelty wears off and the total cost totes up:rolleyes:. on the flip side I was told with a LPG system fitted, the cost per mile is less than the TD5. all the fun for less notes, does it get any better.:)

Thing is nowadays unless you drive a crappy little 1 litre car your gonna have a big fuel bill. What happened to freedom of choice? The government are always trying to get us to drive smaller more economical cars while they drive round in there big jags, well balls to them I want a big throbbing V8 under my bonnet and until the day comes when I can't afford to put fuel in it I'm keeping the beast!:p:p:p:D:D:D
