Adaptor plate design has been thought of and we're going to to try and see if a hi-torque 4.0 starter has got the guts to turn over the 429.......

Using the rover flywheel and clutch (ceramic plate)

Head gaskets being ordered tomorrow (£90)

Block going back together when they arrive, mates making up the new engine mounts so we can drop it straight in and I'm sorting out the flywheel adaptor then once thats on we're making the bellhousing adaptor

Engine mounts complete. Flywheel and box left to do but box has been measured up so we can start

Now all you need is a decent gearbox LT95 anyone?

I've got an LT95 and the number of a place which has a few 101 bellhousings and take off short pinions

So thats the block and the mounts, next thing to do is to make up the adaptor plate for the flywheel and bellhousing (all been measured up already)

Then we're going to bolt things together, put the new head gaskets in and have some fun fitting it

We need to make up some exhaust manifolds too which gives me a chance to try stainless stick welding

Cba buying the tig set up for me welder as I'm a bit skint right now so it'll be stick me stick welding is decent so should be good to go

carefull with the heat and do small circles.
