Hi Guys, could any one point me in the right direction or supply
any info on what is required for a full service on a series IIa.

Have done a search with no joy, plenty of downloads for workshop manuals though.

this is pay back for a guy who helped me out with an issue on my discovery.
Now i need to repay the favour.

any help /advice appreciated

thanks in advance

Yep, thanks for that but

is that all a service on a IIa consists of, changing all the oil

or is there a a different service schedule than what you would do to say a discovery

with it being a more mature vehicle.

oil and filters as with any vehicle and with filters all you have to do is pop into the local indy and get them to order one or go online

just because its old doesn't mean it needs extra things

you might consider checking and adjusting the brakes, find all the grease points six on the props and six on the steering

it might be worth adding a little oil to the relay and checking the oil in the steering box

then there's the swivels could probably do with draining and refilling

air filter is (or should be) an oil bath, could probably do with draining, washing out and refilling to the level marker

coolant level, draining and filling with fresh anti freeze ready for the cold

none of that covers checking wheel bearings or steering wear, that's also worth looking at
