Hi All. I bought a new pair of the 2 part front doors for my 110 300tdi pickup based on all the positive comments. Been a bit painful if I'm to be honest, though the doors came quickly and well packed but I am a complete newbie and if i order a kit i really expect to have everything in it. So doors arrived, with new locks but no fixings for the locks which I though was odd and absolutely no instructions on the best way to put them together. Out of the 4 emails i have sent to them they only answered the one about which way the rubber seal should fit between the top and bottom piece. The window sealing was not neat and the sliding window frame on the drivers door wasn't fixed top right corner. The biggest issue is that water comes in everywhere on the doors, i.e. down the glass then through the connecting bolts and into the bottom part of the door, it also comes in where the door lock fits to the inside panel. Now again I am a newbie so maybe was meant to seal these doors as i put them on but how was i meant to know that. Anyway 2 tubs of overbuild evbstix sealant / adhesive and the doors no longer leak. Shame as they do look good, maybe i had a friday pair :(

They probably expect that a lot of their customers will be experienced landrover mechanics, so not many instructions, etc.
Sounds like you missed a rubber strip somewhere in the assembly if the water is coming in like that.
Not seen the series ones, but the ones on Marts Defender do look pretty good

Turboman's right you can get a complete S3 door with glass but without locks n handles for about £95.00. Why are Defender doors so expensive?
