Right indicator turns on all 4 hazard lights

My left turn indicator works normally but when I put it to right all four indicator bulbs flash like hazard is on and dash turn signal light on the instrument panel is much weaker. I replaced complete indicator stalk, still no change. Very strange..any suggestions?

Yes, all four indicator bulbs are LEDs, and all are lighting up and flashing

Did the problem occurs when you replaced the standard bulbs with LEDs?

The hazard unit is marked 152SA
Is this the correct unit for my defender 300tdi 1996 model?
