Continued to puzzle over this issue - went to YouTube and found this v helpful video by Britannica Restorations Ltd
This is EXACTLY what was going on with ours before I took the dash light bulb out to stop the problem.
We did have a repeater lamp out when we problem 1st came up.....
We picked up the new lamp for the repeater yesterday, so I tested out the whole thing today and yes the missing repeater *was* the problem.
Everything back in place now, dash light, indicators and everything so happy bunny.....
....until a final test through of all the lights and the stop lamps on both sides are now not working The rear lights are ok, fog lamp, number plate lamp all good. Fuse ok.
That's the job for tomorrow!
