Remote central locking?????

Both the key and the fob can immobilise or remoblise the engine so why to u want to disconnect the alarm.

didnt realise the key could start it without the fob, how do you do that

Single button systems have a micro switch in the drivers door operated by a cam when the key is turned to set the system. later 300 series have a passive immobiliser so it sets it's self, but you need the fob to remobilise to unset as it were.
