I need a new LT77 Gearbox for my Defender.

Whos bought from where, and what's the quality like? Any horror stories?

I'm not too far from Bristol and there's Gloucester Road Gearboxes and Bristol Transmissions, anyone used either of these.

Who in people's opinions supply the best Reconditioned boxes of all those out there

Yeah sorry thought I'd get more general responses in here, as my other post is in the Defender section, interested to know for all Landies really to make an informed decision.

Last year I had Bristol Transmissions rebuild my ZFHP22 box in my Rangie. I was assured that their warranty includes off-road use (I asked specifically) and there were a couple of Defenders in at the time.
Did they do a good job? Well, of course I've no idea what they actually did but it works well and smoothly and I haven't managed to break it. :D
