Didn't think the computer would give nowhere near correct figures when gassed...

Two trip computers broken. Reset trip comp on my diesel at the top of a long hill coming out of Blackburn and coasted down most of it after setting off from lights. Got 65.6 MPG on trip comp but it did not last long. :D:D:D

Expect half your quoted figures around town and around 22 at best on the Motorway :smash:
The only way you will get more is on the back of a recovery truck :D

I can get up to 23 MPG on a very steady long run in my 4.6. Generally averages 18.5 MPG though.
Last week i did a trip to London & back - 330 miles on 1 full tank of LPG (95 ltr tank & 85 Ltrs to fill) so approx 17-18 MPG on LPG.

That's very good going. I'm getting about 12 to 14 on lpg but that's all rural lanes and brisk dual carriageway stuff. In a few weeks I've got a longish trip coming up so I'll be keen to see if the consumption improves. :)

I always get a good return on my usual London run & it's generally very consistent to the point it will run out of gas on the same hard corner 2 miles from my house. Running about locally is the problem hence the 18.5 average.:(
