Hello, about to attempt to install a RAM Tough-track mount to the dash. Any advice? I ask, because as we all no, nothing is quick and easy on a landy haha!!! Do I need to remove the dash?
None but they recommended a size #screwWhat fixings does it come with?
Ok, bought the screws but soon realised that they didn’t really “grip” too well so ended up removing part of the dash to bolt or in. Working great though and really happy with it!!!No idea, but looks interesting, please post piccies of how you did it and what it ends up like.
Cheers
Going to test it out properly soon to see how it holds up - will post more Pics soon.Ok, bought the screws but soon realised that they didn’t really “grip” too well so needed up removing part of the dash to bolt or in. Working great though and really happy with it!!!
I should of but ended up using nuts and bolts. What did you do in the finish?
Self tappers?
Nuts and bolts?
I probably would have gone with epoxy and bolts with nylocs as you had pulled the dash out.
Tried self tapping screw but it didn’t feel too secure...hence removing the dash and going with plan bWhat did you do in the finish?

All set up....
There’s so many options and setup possibilities. Have a look at http://www.mudstuff.co.uk/products/ram-mounts.htmlNice and neat if you do not mind me asking, how much just for the tablet fixings and the tough track combined?
How much adjustment is there, if moved more to the center could it be set up to view from the drivers seat for greenlaning?
Cheers
That’s a brilliant idea! Wish I’d seen that before drilling into my dash!Looks great, I’m a big fan of their RAM mounts, totally bomb proof.
I have a couple of Tallon mounts in my switch blanks with RAM adaptors in them.
