I'm not, however I did watch you reverse my Landy up Cam yesterday, just to show me it could get down :cool::cool:

You should be pleased I have faith in you, Zip and 200, its a complement :p:D

compliment or not, no ones infallible

biggest problem's gonna be groups behind catching the groups in front, in the event of an incident/misdemeanour.

look at paul on cam, no fault of his, but would cause a reet old jam on a drivel do.

(no offense paul :bump2:)

edit.
or drivel and a pile of half shaft bits ^^^

The staggering on the lanes is fairly large! Odds are the parkamoor start group are going to be a long way behind those at grizedale as the lane has to be driven twice and then you're a couple of miles from the next one!

Grizedale takes a little time as you need to be careful so you'll be a good way back from us starting on Tarn How

The Tarn how lot will be slow and the quarry lane is fast so they'll hopefully be long gone by the time we reach! Then the final group starting on a small lane will have a small drive to grizedale and beat the parkamoor lot to it by a good half hour!

Yeah I sent a GPX, you wont really be able to tell which are the start points off that either but it'll give you the route

I'll highlight starts on the PDF though and hand out a hard copy on the day to the lead vehicles

are you doing Gatesgarth Pass?

No, you need a pass from the highways to do that one and only at certain times of the year

We're doing breast high on the sunday though which should be nice

I'm not sure, may have that one down as the coach road ?

I've definitely got a long one up near penrith/keswick area

oh! your going a fair old way around ****bria then! you may have it down goes over from kirkstone to ullswater

then theres walna scar, but i don't know if that's shut? garburn got shut in 2006, but that is well fooked! nearly 8ft washed out in the middle in some places,

walna was shut a few years back which is a right pain as it'd have been lovely to drive over in convoy then stop on the top for a few pics

Any chance you can send me the route and pdf again .. Since I had it all on the laptop I went swimming with ... ;)

And after reading the thread, yes, I'll be there, plans afoot to be running within a couple more weeks.

Any chance of the GPX as well?, as I'm leading a group and the PDF version looks like the result of giving a paint pen to a 5 year old and telling them to draw on a road atlas .....

Need to upload it into memory map.

Right, lets talk rubber!

I have a choice of tyres, I've not been to this part of the country let alone offroading so I got no idea what sort'a terrain it is and what's the best tyre for he job!
