ive had vodafone all my time , some of the lads that work with us and a lot of the clients we work for etc have had others, vodafone does nearly 80%, 02 goes flat around parkamoor, top of grizedale coniston side, i have tried to look at your route, but cannot be arsed to read all the thread, would you be able to pm me the route, just out of interest as i ride most on me bike,
ps does Difflock really know what he going to doing without a lift, he will not get up from visitor centre in a standard disco! i rode down there on friday!

there will be a plan b.
that's why we're staying together.
I have no intention of damaging my motor either.
no disrespect to drivel and his route finding, but,...
well you know......

The Fox isn't that easy a route anyway and its a one way only drive!

Now this route can be bypassed easily anyway and in all honesty he may struggle a little on parkamoor too if memory serves me correctly.

Its actually surprising where his motor will go. He did Belford with a spotter and that has caused a lot of damage to other people. Last week he went up Cam rock steps without needing my waffle boards with Neils help. You can see what that is like from the pics on the West Yorkshire thread from today.

no worries, cheers for the heads up.
if it all goes pear shaped we'll be there for the ****s and giggles with the social side at least.

I'm aware that the D2 can raise its arse up in the air a little to help but the main threat on the way up is the front diff!
Will obviously see on the day, tarn hows also gets a little close to the sills on the descent (we are doing this down the way not up as its easier this way) so just be careful especially if its been raining

No doubt there'll be **** taking if he busts a diff pan but my welder is always on standby so he's more than welcome to fix the axle the next morning :p I've usually got 6mm steel knocking about too

He will be fine we'll make sure he gets round ok,with the amount of tackle we have between us we should be able to get him anywhere.

he better be getting some add ons, and a couple of extra tyres too, if he's no mods at all, does he stand up to his name? Diff lock?? or its a winch a pull him up and turn radio up so he doesn't here the scrapping of the bottom of his car,

He has been on a lot of our trips and I think only done minor damage to a bit of body work once. Other more modified vehicles have done a lot worse on the same lanes. Ask PaulD about Belford :D:D:D

ps when is it? i might pop along and have bit of a meet up, maybe bring a few tyres wi me!!:)
