please help me off my hands and knees

can anyone please help me keep sane? since christmas my 1996 p38 has not fired up since i put it in reverse and it stalled.its an automatic 4.0.ive checked all plugs/leads etc,new battery,and so close to firing but no.since then dash keeps saying engine disabled,and when i entered the eka it has worked,but not now and to top that every time i open driver door and bonnet the alarm goes off! i called a garage today as they do electronic diagnosis but they said coulkdnt help and gave me a contact to an auto electrician who also said he couldnt help with it.im at a loss now and would like to remain sane for my wife and pets for as long as possible.can anyone advise me please?

Whereabouts are you? Maybe someone is close who could help.

am near dumfries,but everyone i have asked so far is unable to help.i had wanted to at least get it running and just sell it.have been offered something for it so may just have to cut my losses.thanks for your reply!

Without spamming or advertising I know that there is at least one mobile mechanic on here with the kit that you need. Might I suggest that you start another thread asking for some-one either in, or who can get to, your area with a full fault reader.

sounds like its needs a resynch and a new battery
