I check relay thing again just so I know I wasn't being dump still not diesel. But got a few weird things didn't notice before but cars telling me the ing key is in all time? And I put new battery on last night now mileage is showing different was 93k now 101k the guy I got it from did tell me about the odometer error but said it was due to him charging battery up. Have I been done?
Key in ignition is just the little shutter & switch sticking, some graphite powder will fix that.
Mileage is kept in the BECM and the instrument pack and if either is changed defaults to whichever is the higher reading. One or other has been changed, nothing to do with charging the battery. Maybe you have been done:eek:

It's only 7k diff but I contacted the so called dealer and he is say it's nout to do with him lol

I have a bloke coming around tomorrow with proper Computer stuff to give it the once over so I guess his computer may say if been altered.

Will the ing key thing stop car doing anything? Remote won't lock car at moment will it do anything to immobizer?

If I remember correctly, it will not lock on the remote if it thinks the key is in the ignition, others will correct me if I'm wrong on that.
Get your computer man to read the VIN in the BECM and compare it to the log book. It's possible that an attempt has been made to clock it.

Yes your correct!! Mine sticks open every now and then (not often enough to do anything about it) and when it does it wont lock. When it does I just push the silver/gray bit of the barrel with my finger sometimes give it a little wiggle and it clicks back

Now have pump but had massive flood in kitchen now all ceiling come down. Crap plumber for you so will have to try and fit tomorrow now

No defo not, even worse now the new pump in (pretty easy install) diesel running fine but still won't start. I'm trying to get someone to reset bmce and Ems or what ever it's called lol

Anyone got a p38 diesel syncmate they want to sell or borrow out I'll pay petrol and others costs if needed just need to get this damn car working.

anything else worth trying?

Could well be loss of sync due to all the cranking. Diagnostics with Nanocom would be better than Syncmate.

Yeah agreed would be better just doesn't seam to be anyone around my area that have mobile unit and sync mate. I only live about 4 miles for dakarcars but they don't do mobile either

Never mind I love to walk to work lol

Have a look at landyzone International rescue, there may be someone listed near you with Nanocom/Faultmate, Hawkeye or Lynx who would help out for tea & biscuits.
