I can't tell a lie. It'll take a while of counseling and therapy to muster the courage to own up to what I've done. Luckily wazza didn't leave bruises that show. Now to face Matron.

are the results in? Come on!!
We'll, not quite. The definition of BLOCK is a solid hard object flat on all sides. My one remaining brain cell interpreted it as that. I wondered why the land rover ones were spindles. Hmmmmmm. By putting my 100mm blocks betwixt bump and axle plate the spring was already up to ninety nine. So, when I put it up to extended to get my blocks out one or more of the springs went west and turned into UXB s. My one remaining brain cell also told me as the bags were new, they must be OK so I blamed everything else. That doesn't mean that there weren't other faults. I think I've fluked 3 good bags and the one I haven't is on its way. My heading was that I'd done something stupid and I have. I've now made some SPINDLES which can be inserted into a flat timber receiver clearly marked with size/rear etc. I'm now in the process of lowering. It'll take a while because wazzas bruises and matron's barbed wire therapy are restricting my agility somewhat. Watch this space.

are your shocks absolutley the correct ones? I recently fitted the terrafirma hd's, but not the 2" lift units, for obvious reasons. I used a good car jack to lift and lower mine onto the cal'blocks. I found that to be more reliable. Its sounds like tye shocks are allowing the bus to lift too high!! Is the pressure switch in working order?

I've suspected the shocks all along but I was only guessing. I'm going with the pros this time. I've just used the jack method to lower the Ratbag onto my patent calibration pillars. I've done three levels now and as you intimate the rear end was slow to settle from high to STD. I could still turn the spacers for a while. My next step is to manipulate the front sensors to read 2 points difference or less. Then I'll report back to my guru. Watch this space.

Here we go. I knew I was in for it....Btw, I put a new pressure switch on as a matter of course when I re O ringed the valve block. I've also bought a substitute valve block pre doctored. Got the sensor readings within 1 side to side. The threaded plug thing that the sensor fixings screw into had come adrift. Whatever stick I'm in for can't be worse than this. Watch this space.

We're changing your nickname to Lofty.

The man who hasn't made a mistake hasn't done anything ;)'

I'm getting away light here. My rear airbags aren't showing their knickers and my side to side sensor readouts are parity and 1. As a temporary emergency get out of jail measure I've replaced all airbags with colanders which hold pressure longer. If this post appears less than communicable I'm suffering with altitude sickness. Say hello to our new forum........ girrafeyzone.
