Not in FranceThanks. Don't suppose you have a link to where I can buy Bosch ones from?

That's the correct type, just make sure the relay drops out after the timed period, the external resistor should not be there.
The external resistor is most likely to modify to time the hot start is active. I would expect the LED to light when the hot start is active.I had the same box on mine, but am going to refit it. As takes a while to restart. Mine has a external resister also. Should that be removed then? Why? There is a little yellow led on my circuit board (not red like the one in the post I quoted from) when does that light?
Easy enough to check if you have a meterThanks hun . Refitted again this morning. Car starts hot now on the button. Let's hope this type of box does not substitute cold start settings permanently!
Can anyone give me any pointers on changing the heater o rings plz? Going to attempt it tomorrow. Did one about 4 yrs ago but can't remember how it went

A post about O Rings in a Thread on a non-starting P38....
Hi guys,
This is my first communication with you all.
I also had this 'hot start' issue with my Range Rover 1997 2.5 DSE for the last 2 years or so. I went through BMW forums looking for a remedy and nothing worked. I also fitted the ebay solution that didn't work for long. Finally I got the advise from the p38 forum that solved my issue by advancing the inj pump..
You got to turn the injection pump towards the engine by about 2 mm or more. Mine worked at 4 + mm. It's a matter of removing the intake manifold then loosening 3 nuts that hold the inj. pump. Then put a long screw driver or a rod between the injector pipes and push towards the engine.
It worked for me & it should for you all too.
