Hi All have ordered and paid (via paypal) £37 for an EAS valve block o ring set from P38 Spares. Their website says I have yet to pay and I get no response from emails or the many phone calls to both listed numbers. Forced to submit and wait for a paypal claim to get the money back for bits I need. Will not be using again. Anyone else used this company?

Go to any of the many garage supply factors on the net and get a set of metric O'rings. All you will need and more to repair your EAS for around £14.00 to £20.00. You will get 400 or 500 mixed O'rings for than sort of money, not just the couple of dozen you get in the so called kit.

Strange, I've never had any problem with them. They've always been excellent and very helpful. In fact they've gone out of their way to express deliver parts in the past when I've needed them urgently.

Keep ringing them. Are you sure you have the correct number? I think they changed premises recently. The new number should be on their web site.

Have emailed, phoned both numbers and raised a paypal concern. No reply to anything! It is the correct number as you get an answer phone message. This is my first dealings with them and not impressed. I have all the paypal documentation (which I have emailed to them) proving I have paid. Not happy.

Odd that I am out of pocket £37! Never have any issues normally with internet shopping. As I say I have sent copies of the paypal transaction to them. nothing in reply or response by phone.

Must be my bad luck, paying for something and not getting it. They have finally responded and admitted they have payment, but not yet refunded! Have to escalate tomorrow and force a refund!.

That's definitely not the service that I've had from P38 Spares in the past. I've had problems with Bearmach and almost a stand up fight with Buckley Brothers that I can remember but I've got to stand up for P38 Spares.

I hope it's not a case of a good little company growing into a couldn't care' big company.

Still no refund despite them saying so! May have to take further. Needed the parts urgent, but no parts or money back so far!

Why don't you just ring them again and ask him to redo the order. If you mention that you need them urgently then he'll overnight them.

He's very helpful usually. Sounds like you've just caught them in an off moment.

Hello,

Andy here from P38Spares, just to clarify, the order was placed on Sat 03/07/10 , paypal did not send us an email notification, the customer contacted us by email the following Thursday 08/07/10 asking us to clarify if the parts had been sent, the next day before we had a chance to sort out the problem the customer had raised a complaint via paypal and the funds were refunded. We are a small company and try to resolve any problems as soon as we are made aware of them, we dont feel that this customer gave us a chance to sort out his issue, I am sorry for that but feel that we do deliver a good and personal service to our customers. Our telphone numbers are listed on the website and each advert as well as my own personal mobile telephone which I have sorted out questions etc after hours on many occasions. Regards, Andy - P38Spares

Fair play for being honest and straight answer:D

If you look at my posts you will see that I have stated I emailed and phoned many times until left being concerened about lost money claimed back via paypal for non receipt of goods. I feel I gave you enough time to resolve the issue and was patient. I even asked on this forum to see what service had been from the company and see that you do provide a good service. However for me this did not happen.

Personally I have delta with p38 spares and wouldn't deal with them again, bought something from them on eBay postage to ireland was something like £8. Fair enough. Bought something from the website 2 days later cahrged £19 for delivery, fair enough. Then both items arrived in the same package! Total rip off merchant will never do biz with again

I remember this order, the shipping was combined and upgraded to a DHL courier service for a faster delivery, We always try to assist customers in whatever way we can. We are very customer focused and not 'rip off merchants' as implied.
