Nope :( They are waiting on parts from elsewhere, and everywhere is anywhere between 3 weeks and 3 months behind due to this Covid nonsense. There is one company in particular slowing evrything down, and if they don't get their finger out soon, I will name and shame, as they are have been mentioned several times in this Forum.

Didn't want to do a like but know the feeling on both sides waiting for parts were the same down here and they use portugese reg to order parts takes ages as they say vin not recognised...check regs in pics...

When I was grounds foreman at Hopetoun House before I moved down here with my D plate EFI Classic...Chairman of the trust Lord Wymes would roar up the drive in his Grey Overfinch Classic for trustee meetings...it was loud bloody loud a completely different sound to mine when I gave it welly up the drive...

On our build paperwork is says quiet exhaust;) but it has a different sound you can’t hide:D

Thats naff... It's frustrating when it's out of your hands. I was waiting for a call back from a suppliers for Ford body parts.. Nothing, so I have to call back and be nice on the phone even though I'm just a little bit disappointed wit the lack of communication because my client is also waiting!!?
I get the feeling that this covid can be used at random as a good excuse for things ot being well organized.... Not funking angry!!!
I hope you have news soon;)

Yes, beats me. We're more connected than ever with more technologies than ever but no-one communicates other. At best you get some automated dumb **** of a message from a computer.

Thanks Mark. I also think a lot are using the virus as an excuse. Maybe not in actual hands on jobs, but I think some utility companies, and , central/local government are taking the P. If some are working in their offices, and some are "working from home", then why are any furloughed? I don't get it. We are all wired for sound these days. My last 10 years , at work, was mainly from home, as I was on a permanent 24hrs notice to move, as well as covering Scotland and NI, and my HQ was South of England. I used secure comms , on work devices, and went to the office when necessary. If the Forces were doing it back then, why the heck can't government and others do it now. Why is anyone furloughed , who can work from a phone/ computer?
Anyway back to the Golden Girl. I am trying to be patient, but eventually I may have to revert to type ;)

Anyways Love All The Ideas AND Work Arounds that just mean you ba k to the garage anyways lol. doing it all on the cheap eh, well to solve the p38 overheating issue just use waterless coolant. never boils, never evaporates, never let's the rust in.
Last Time I Posted About THIS the answer was similar to a pharmaceutical company. "we've never heard of it so can not advise" begs the question then we love talking about problems and not solutions.

I've considered that stuff but don't know enough about it. It is interesting to know if it's been used in the diesel version as well?

Watweless coolant is used in places, copters all the high end cars, diesel, non diesel. Please no one on here tell me that the highest spec oil doesn't create a protective layer as the oil degrades to protect the parts, because they dont know enough about it.
I gave the fix the solution the end game.
Ps waterless coolant can be filtered at service Intervals and re used.
I'm the only poster here who gave 2 fixes in the last year.
Yet your scared like of covid?
All you need to do is research it?

You forgot to mention that waterless coolant doesnt have as good a heat transfer ablility as water. Which makes it less effective as a coolant.
All you need to do is research it?
Yeah people should do their own research on 5G and vaccines and such. I hear Facebook is a good place to do it

What did they change on the suspension?
An instructor in Bordon used to work for Overfinch, on a Saturday (training was suspended because heating broke so they were working overtime) while shooting the ****, and him taking the **** out of my P38 he mentioned the system used some components from Citroen. But because the P38 system couldn't inflate the outside suspension fast enough in a corner, they designed the inside to "drop a knee". Worked fine for most spirited driving, but would come unstuck on super twisties if you was pressing on a bit since you'd end up on bumpstops. However it was deemed acceptable because they figured you was never going to race one.

Take with a pinch of salt, but it seemed plausible.
