“New
in the Netherlands there are three registered p38 overfinch
gray with the steering wheel english
black has been broken for years
that drives

there are a lot of nonsense stories about implementation, characteristic of an overfinch is holes in the grill, emblem on the inside on the steering wheel and stripes (piping) on the sides / bumper chrome strip
there are versions where the headlining is in other colors
the blue has burbery trim.
cream headlining does not occur with overfinch

engine can be a rr and be 4.6 with two turbo's or versions with Chevrolet engine“

Which model, which year? Overfinch did many different things for customer spec. But in general they removed the RR engine and fitted Chevrolet in the RRC and P38 days, but Recently it’s just bling.
Got any pics?

Welcome to Landyzone. Your post is probably very interesting, however, at this time of night, I cannot be bothered to struggle through it , with my limited Dutch.
. We welcome people from all over the world, with a love/hate relationship with Green Oval. However, as you may have guessed , by the .co.uk address, and the posts all being in English, we are UK centric, and the language of use, is English. No matter how many languages we speak , individually, or collectively. Therefore, it would be terribly kind of you, if you would, put up an English version of your post .

Google Translate eh Jon ;)

Overfinch always used the GM engine the 1998 570 - 630 and 25th "like yours"

All had the small block chevy.

There was a 4yr period unto which you could bring your P38 in and have it converted, you could keep the 4.6 and have the overfinch big brake bit or interior conversion..

Or maybe the active ride suspension, however this was rare, I believe to be unheard of!

Replacing the engine was the whole point! ;)

What did they change on the suspension?

What did they change on the suspension?
Close guarded secret ;)

It is a pressurised system that replaces the anti roll bar and shock absorbers IIRC it used a nitrogen charged sphere Nitrogen gave the springing,

Looked similar to a citroen system only difference being it doesn't have a swashplate pump

On the same theme, I caught sight of a very tidy Classic a few years ago with Overfinch badges & the legend 4.6 on the tailgate.
Could have been b......t of course, I didn't get the chance to view the interior.

The 460i was a RRC Overfinch did do in the early 1990's as a "low buck" upgrade over the 3.9 and 4.2 v8's at that time, it utilised a stroked 3.9 block with a better cam and heads the same basic design as the 4.6 RV8 used in the P38

Don't know who Jon is , but it just strikes of look at me , for someone, who, if Dutch, has better English than most of us, to post in Dutch , on a .co.uk, English language site.

And yes , I am in a grumph :)

When I was grounds foreman at Hopetoun House before I moved down here with my D plate EFI Classic...Chairman of the trust Lord Wymes would roar up the drive in his Grey Overfinch Classic for trustee meetings...it was loud bloody loud a completely different sound to mine when I gave it welly up the drive...

Have you got your l322 back yet gold?
Nope :( They are waiting on parts from elsewhere, and everywhere is anywhere between 3 weeks and 3 months behind due to this Covid nonsense. There is one company in particular slowing evrything down, and if they don't get their finger out soon, I will name and shame, as they are have been mentioned several times in this Forum.
